Kevin Kyle


Kevin Kyle graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BA in Theatre Arts in 2005. Specializing in special effects make-up design, he studied under the world renowned Hollywood FX artist Tom Savini at his school in Pittsburgh and worked for multiple haunted houses, independent films, and was the Fright Fest Coordinator at Astroworld. In 2006, he won the Krylon Young Artist award for his work on the theatre production ‘Dracula’. He began his teaching career in 2007 with Alief ISD where he taught theatre and physical education for many years before moving to Spring ISD in 2015.

During his teaching career, he fell in love with personal training, yoga and massage. He received his personal training certification through ACE in 2011, and earned his Hatha Yoga certification (500 hours) from Lex Gilliam at the Houston Yoga Institute. He has taught yoga at multiple studios throughout the Houston/Cypress area including Some Like It Hot which has been voted Cypress’s Best Yoga Studio for two years in a row. Additionally, he is a certified massage therapist with a focus on sports and medical massage techniques. He is working towards his masters in science in physical therapy.

He loves his daily life with his beautiful and ever-talented wife, Elise, his opinionated and hilarious second grader, Vincent, his adorably scatter-brained sophomore, Sage, and his grown son, Kaleb.
