Jordyn Nail

Assistant Director

Jordyn is a native of Swainsboro, Georgia. She loves math, sports, food, hip-hop music, riding dirt roads, and FUSION ACADEMY!
Jordyn graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. While at GSU, she was a four – year member of the Eagles Softball team. HAIL SOUTHERN! After graduation, Jordyn began her teaching and softball coaching career at her alma mater, Swainsboro High School. In 2010, she became a member of the East Georgia State College faculty as a math instructor and was also the Bobcats head softball coach. In 2012, Jordyn transitioned into higher education leadership as the Director of Learning Support. She earned her Master’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Georgia Southern University in 2014. In January 2015, Jordyn became the Director of EGSC’s Augusta campus and was responsible for partnering with Augusta University in an innovative program to provide higher education opportunities to students in the region who may otherwise be denied access.
