C.K. Jeang


Mr. CK Jeang’s career spans over 25 years of financial and operating experience with several leading global companies based in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  Mr. Jeang has held senior management positions with the Asian/ Chinese affiliates of ExxonMobil, S. C. Johnson, Kraft Foods, and Yale Locks.  He has spent a third of his career in the energy industry, half in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics management and the balance in consulting before entering education.  Prior to joining Fusion Academy, he was an adjunct professor of corporate finance at the University of Houston.  He is a certified math teacher and has taught at both private and public high schools.  His research interest is how familial background and culture impact student’s studying habits.  He has taught math models, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and college algebra.  He specializes in standardized test preparation with focus on SAT and ACT math/science.  Besides his passion for education, Mr. Jeang is a competitive ping pong and chess player.

Mr. Jeang holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s in Systems Engineering.  He is an active member of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honorary society, a member of the American Institute for CPA’s (AICPA), the Society for Professional Engineers (SPE) and a member of the Hawkamah, Middle Eastern Corporate Governance.

Mr. Jeang and his wife, Sherry, have two daughters.  Janice is a PhD candidate at the University of Texas.  Lyndsey has graduated from the University of Houston with a BS degree in psychology.  They enjoy travelling and have visited many countries in Europe and Asia.
