Adrienne did her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz (mascot – banana slug).  Upon graduation form UC Santa Cruz, she moved back east to be closer to family and to attend Cornell University for Graduate Studies in explosive volcanology.  After graduation from Cornell, Adrienne then attended SUNY New Paltz and attained a Master of Arts in Teaching; Adolescent Education, with a focus on Earth Science. In addition to working in Middle Schools and High Schools in New York State, Adrienne has taught outdoor education since 2010.  She has brought students rock climbing, caving, hiking and camping.  Adrienne also can carve her own shish-kebab skewers, so you’ll never have to worry about how to toast a marshmallow when she’s around.

Adrienne loves the outdoors!  She goes rock climbing, hiking and camping with her fiancé and their awesome doggie companion most weekends.  During her down time, Adrienne creates unique beaded jewelry. Fun fact – Adrienne was the “Costume Goddess” for the circus camp, Camp Winnarainbow in Laytonville, CA. Not only did she make costumes while working there, but she also became a certified stilt-walker.
