Fusion Academy Hingham is excited to host award-winning author-illustrator Amanda Davis on Zoom to celebrate the release of her third book, Sometimes Stormy. Sometimes Stormy follows a young boy who lives with a parent struggling with alcohol use disorder and is an excellent resource for parents, teachers, mental health professionals, and others who may need to help children understand that substance abuse and other struggles with an adult in their life is not their fault.
Amanda will read her book and engage in a Q&A with our Resource Panel during the event. Our resource panelists come from the medical, prevention, and recovery space and hosted an incredibly informative and thoughtful discussion during our in-person event in October. This event is free and open to the community.
