Fusion hosted a free webinar on February 17 at 11:30AM on the topic “Is Your Student Gender Curious? Healthy ways to engage in LGBTQ dialogue with your teenager”
The webinar was facilitated by Dr. Amena Johnson (Executive Director for Hope in a Box (HIAB), which provides LGBTQ inclusive books, curriculum, training and mentorship). The virtual webinar provided information on how parents can best support LGBTQ teens and explore healthy ways to respond to a child’s curiosity around gender identity. Information about gender expression and best practices around bridging communication were shared and an open Q and A session concluded the event.
This Coffee Chat is in-person, and will be held on our campus as a follow-up to the Gender Curious webinar on February 17th.
