Latin 3 Honors reviews the grammar and vocabulary learned in Latin 1 and 2 throughout the year, leaving room for learning more complicated syntactical structures. Honor students will work towards cumulative midterms and finals while expanding their depth of understanding. The course will guide the student through readings about the end of the Republic, and the establishment of the Empire. Students will take a good look at the background of Roman history and Roman politics, the death of Caesar and the establishment of the Principate by Augustus.
