Stephen is excited to be a part of Fusion Columbia as a History/English teacher. Stephen was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has lived all over the world, including in Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. Within the United States Stephen has lived in Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, and now most recently in Maryland.
Stephen earned his B.A. in History (With minors in English Literature, Political Science and Classical Studies) from Elon University. Stephen has also earned an M.A. in History from Loyola University Chicago, an M.Ed from Lesley University, and most recently an M.A. in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
Stephen has worked some very interesting jobs. He has been a Walt Disney World Cast Member, where he worked at the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride. He has worked as a National Park Ranger, a tour guide in Washington DC and at one point even sold raffle tickets at Chicago Bulls Games.
Stephen lives with his incredible wife, Rebekah, his two boys, Marcus and Alex, and one little Cockapoo named Luna. He has a lifelong love for learning, video games and stories from all mediums. Stephen recently finished writing a book and hopes to one day get it published.
