Karen Lukasik is a teacher at Fusion Academy with concentration in English and Language Arts, although she teaches other subjects such as government and life skills. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Communication Disorders and a Master’s degree in Public Administration emphasis in Local and State Government at Argosy University. She is continuing her higher education pursuit toward a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. Karen has worked in the public school setting for over twenty years in both the regular educational setting and special educational setting. She has extensive experience working with students with learning disabilities and enjoys the one-to-one teaching experience to assist students with greater success.
She serves elected office as a Clerk for Algonquin Township. Karen and her husband have two daughters (ages 21 and 22) and a son (age 13). They spend their free time going to her son’s travel hockey games, enjoying out of town at tournaments and games, as well as watching the amazing things he can do on the ice. She is his biggest fan!
