Chike Nwabukwu


Chike Nwabukwu has worked in the education arena for 14 years as a traditional teacher, teaching artist, arts administrator, and substitute teacher. He began his career in Washington, DC – where he was born, although his family is from Nigeria, West, Africa – and has also taught in New York City, Philadelphia, and Bahia, Brazil. When not in the classroom, Chike enjoys making films, drumming, practicing Capoeira Angola, and spending time with his family. He holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Philosophy.
