Techniques for professionals working with youth, not against them. This training focuses on understanding the crisis cycle, from prevention to escalation to the actual period of crisis and what follows after. Trainees will learn how to recognize counter aggression in themselves and how to prepare themselves and the learning environment to best support the children in their care. Strategies and examples will be provided throughout the training to prepare participants to be confident in working with children that are showing challenging behaviors.
