Education
She graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York with a B.S. in Elementary education and Special education. She received her M.S. at The College of New Rochelle with a concentration in teaching the Emotionally Handicapped. She has also taken another 30 credits in English Language Arts to make her highly qualified in New York State.
Experience
She loves to teach and after retiring from a 32 year career at Rockland BOCES, teaching special education high school students, she knew she couldn’t leave the classroom forever.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Denise. Both girls attend college and are the light of her life.
- When she is not in the classroom, she lives in Rockland, but never misses an opportunity to go to the beach or travel to a warmer climate.
- Family and friends are most important to her, next to her career.
