Christina Polchinski


Christina teaches Physical Education, Life Skills and Science at Fusion Academy. She earned her Bachelors in Exercise Physiology and Recreational Therapy from Manhattan College. She also holds her New York State Teaching Assistant Certification for New York Public Schools. Christina resides in Yorktown Heights, New York where she coaches youth teams for the Yorktown Youth Soccer Club. Prior to this summer, she was the girls Varsity Assistant Soccer Coach for the Yorktown Huskers the past four years.

Prior to joining Fusion, Christina was the Managing Director of Huntington Learning Center in Scarsdale. Here, she helped students and families from Pre-k all the way up to High school, receive services ranging from educational support to foster academic and personal growth. Christina has also taught in public and private classrooms throughout Westchester County as a teaching assistant and teacher’s aide for many diverse populations.

Outside of the classroom, Christina loves spending time with her family and pets. You can find her on the weekends coaching soccer, working out at the gym or watching the Jets play football on Sundays. Christina’s mission in teaching is to instill in her students the importance of a healthy lifestyle, building healthy relationships and having a positive outlook on life.
