Haley Doeppers guides students to their full potential, academically and emotionally, through interactive lessons that incorporate their passions and interests. Haley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from University of California at Santa Barbara, a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential, and a Master’s Degree in Education from Antioch University at Santa Barbara.
Haley has worked at Fusion for eight years and had previously taught K-4th grade at an alternative elementary school in Santa Barbara. She has led the Fusion Student Council/Cohort for the past two years, helping students get involved in community outreach and volunteer programs. She has done community service projects in various cities with the SB Marine Mammal Center, Operation Gratitude, and beach clean ups. She has traveled to Southeast Asia twice and has visited Cambodian orphanages to volunteer and teach English.
Haley enjoys taking her dog to the beach, spending quality time with friends and family, and traveling to new places to gain unique experiences.
Haley has fostered a Thai elephant for two years and has lived and worked at an elephant sanctuary in Chang Mai, Thailand, caring for her designated elephant, Jumpy, who was rescued from 30 years of abuse.
