Sahar Jahanikia


Sahar is a math teacher and mentor here at Fusion Walnut Creek! She has her undergraduate in chemistry, first class, with a distinction honor degree, and her graduation was in Bioinformatics. Prior to joining Fusion Walnut creek, she was a neuroimaging data analyst and lab manager at Stanford University School of Medicine. While there, she oversaw the designing and running of research studies and the collecting and analyzing of neuroimaging data from all kinds of brain scanning modalities.

Sahar found Fusion Academy in 2017 when she was honored to be a math teacher at Fusion San Mateo. She loved getting to know it’s amazing stuff and students. Sahar has enjoyed teaching and tutoring since her senior high school years. She taught students as small as three years old to research scholars at Stanford University where she was a teacher assistant and taught about neuroimaging techniques. Sahar is passionate about teaching. She enjoys mentoring students who like to explore their talents. Sahar is a life and travel enthusiast. She enjoys playing with her son and gardening with her husband. As a floral and event designer, she meditates with flowers. She is also a chef and pastry chef at home. Sahar loves fashion, running, boxing, working out, and singing Italian Opera.
