Substitute Teacher

Dr. Gary S. Walker-Roberts serves Fusion Academy as a Substitute Teacher.  Dr. Walker-Roberts holds two Associates of Arts degrees from the Contra Costa Community College system, a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from California State University: East Bay, a Master of Arts in English from Arizona State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, E-Learning at Northcentral University. They graduated at the top of their class earning Cum Laude with every degree. Dr. Walker-Roberts’ passion is to coach students to their full potential and to reach their educational goals. Dr. Walker-Roberts recently taught English in Cali, Colombia with the partnership of Northcentral University. They enjoy domestic and international travel. When Dr. Walker-Roberts is not working, they can be found exploring the Northshore of O’ahu Hawai’i on horseback. A unique fact about Dr. Walker-Roberts is that they were raised by their mother’s spirit versus her physical touch! They currently live in Antioch with their husband, Maj. JK. Roberts, USMC Retired. They recent adopted their first cat, Dolce Latte, after the death of their beloved boxers, Rocky and Rain (due to old age). Don’t be surprised if he pops into the ZOOM screen unexpectedly- he loves to pounce on the images on the screen. Dr. Walker-Roberts looks forward to spending time with students at Fusion Academy.
