Education

Mitch McDonald graduated from Virginia Military institute in May of 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in history.

Experience

Mitch spent his high school summers in Goshen, Virginia as a camp counselor at Goshen Scout reservation. There he taught kids geology, zoology, wilderness survival, and ethics. After graduating from college, Mitch served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps being stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. Mitch took every opportunity available to teach his Marines about history, ethics, and physical education.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Went bungee jumping, skydiving, and scuba diving - looking for a way to combine all three.
  • Loves tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer! Known at summer camp as Mitch the Lich.
  • Dreams of circumnavigating the globe and other extreme adventure activities.
