History & English Teacher/Mentor
I grew up in the small town of Corning in upstate New York. Since I was young, I was passionate for learning. My love for history convinced me to move to the Northern Virginia to study at George Mason University. In four years, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in American History.
As a teacher at Fusion for almost two years, I greatly appreciate the importance of its unique and revolutionary education model in helping students achieve their full potential. It has helped me foster a healthy learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking and pursuing one’s interests. Having taught a diverse array of students in subjects such as history, government, literature, politics, and economics, I am proud of the progress the students at Fusion have made towards becoming productive and creative members of society.
In my free time, I have been busy editing my fourth book to be published in the near future. I also enjoy watching movies, listening to my record collection, and going on walks with my dog Daisy.
