Justyn Dietrich

Art and English Teacher/Mentor

Justyn has been drawing since he could hold a pen in his hand. Born in Texas, he moved around the country with his family after his father joined the Air Force, staying in many places across the U.S. While living in Las Vegas, Justyn grew up around many kids from all walks of life, due to his mom and dad becoming foster parents. Justyn’s family, now a little bit bigger after adopting his two siblings, moved back to Texas where Justyn went to high school and later attended the University of North Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in drawing and painting, as well as a minor in Creative Writing. Justyn began tutoring independently and discovered a passion for teaching and for fostering a healthy and positive atmosphere for his students to learn and grow, not just with art, but with any life skills that he could pass along.

Justyn specializes in drawing, especially illustration and design work. He also has a wide-array of artistic skills in painting with oils, acrylics, and watercolor, as well as metalsmithing, jewelry, ceramics, and paper maché sculpture. He draws his inspiration from movies, music, and especially comic books. In his free time, Justyn makes costumes to cosplay with his wife, plays D&D with his friends, and one day wants to publish his own graphic novel.
