Education

Amber is a Nationally Board-certified teacher with a Master's degree from the University of Washington, among the top 10 Schools of Education in the nation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Seattle Pacific University, where she double majored in history and European studies Spanish, studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain, worked in a cancer research lab, and competed on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.

Experience

After college, Amber served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, working with underserved populations in violence prevention, conflict resolution, and service-learning. She also brings a wealth of experience from her time working with students of all levels in Seattle, Washington.
