Amber is a Nationally Board certified teacher with a Masters degree from the University of Washington, among the top 10 Schools of Education in the nation. She earned her B.A. from Seattle Pacific University, where she double majored in History and European Studies Spanish, studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain, worked in a cancer research lab, and competed on the Cross Country and Track & Field teams. After college, Amber served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, working with underserved populations in violence prevention, conflict resolution, and service learning. She brings a wealth of experience from her time working with students of all levels in Seattle, Washington.
As a Fusion teacher/mentor, she taught History, English, and Spanish, and served as the Humanities Department Head. Amber is passionate about mentoring and coaching teachers and students.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running in pretty places, crafting, reading, volunteering, and being in the great outdoors.
