Resiliency and the ADHD Brain
Dulce Torres is an LPC-S, BCC, ACC. She is the founder and CEO of Avant-Garde Center and Brighter Horizons Group (BHG). Since 2008, Avant-Garde Center has specialized in providing innovative, cutting-edge, research-based counseling and coaching for those with ADHD, anxiety, and/or depression. Dulce started working with school-based centers in 1998. Since then, she has endorsed mental health services as part of school districts across Texas. In March 2022, Dulce founded BHG. A school-based mental health group specializing in closing the gap between school counseling mental health services and outpatient psychotherapy utilizing a trauma-informed approach. BHG services embedded within the schools create a continuum of integrated care that improves children’s mental health and educational attainment. Dulce believes that every student, every teacher, and every parent can “Live Life Beyond Limitation.”
