Dr. Arastou Aminzadeh – or “Dr. A” as most teens refer to him – is nationally recognized in the field of adolescent psychiatry. He is triple board certified in Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. He is a Fellow of both the American Psychiatric Association and The American Society of Addiction Medicine, and is the Site Director of the UCLA Addiction Fellowship where he also holds a voluntary faculty position at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. His career-long passion for helping teens combined with his growing dismay witnessing ‘teen treatment’ rapidly shift from a field to an industry, led him and his colleague Dr. Oliver Ahmadpour to open BNI Treatment Centers in 2018.
