Education

Tom Baumann majored in physics at UC Irvine and gained exposure to experimental research as an undergraduate lab tech. This led him to Harvard where he completed his PhD in experimental particle physics.

Experience

Tom worked for 10 years in aerospace as part of a cross-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists creating systems to solve all sorts of interesting problems. Tom changed gears in his career when he became leader the youth programs at his parish for 14 years. There he and his team mentored and accompanied the high school youth and their families through the formative adolescent years.
