Education

Kyle Rosso graduated from University College Dublin with an MA in History, specializing in the First World War and early 20th century European conflict. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BA in History and a minor in Communication Studies, being awarded the College of Liberal Arts Outstanding Graduate Award for Contributions to the Objectives and Public Image of the University at graduation. Kyle went to high school locally at Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, where he graduated as one of three Outstanding Graduates for the Class of 2007.

Experience

Kyle was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta – the United States’ National History Honor Society – in December 2008 and was a member of the University College Dublin History Society’s 100th Session. Besides living in Dublin, Ireland, Kyle has also lived in Torino, Italy and has completed archival research with the Irish Military Archives in Dublin, Il Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano in Torino, and the Imperial War Museum in London. Kyle was also selected by the Museum of Tolerance and the Checkpoint Charlie Foundation to attend an intensive, two week long education program in Berlin, Germany focusing on Holocaust education during Summer 2018.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Kyle used to work as a high school History teacher in the LA Galaxy youth academy!
