Brittany Harrison

Visual Arts Teacher/ Mentor

Brittany grew up in Inglewood and graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Religious Studies. She was part of the Tri-Coops on campus and played an important role in sustaining environmental and social justice groups. Brittany is inspired by nature, resilience, and systems of self-expression that allow people to feel connected. She went on to gain her teaching credential at Humboldt State University where she was heavily involved with the performing arts. Brittany enjoys writing, gardening, performing, creating art, fashion, and working on side projects with other designers/artist. She is continuing her education by studying Art Therapy. She hopes to create community classes and therapeutical environments where people can heal, promote wellness, connect, and feel inspired through art.
