Education

Betsy holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently completing the first year of her Ed.S. and PPS credentialed graduate degree in School Psychology at California State University Long Beach.

Experience

Betsy Duthoit is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance member. She has spent the past few years as a yoga instructor and is so happy to share her vision of peacefulness and positivity through body and mind connection with the students of Fusion Academy! She has also worked as a lead Pre-K teacher and as an elementary school general music teacher while working for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Betsy has also served Fusion Academy South Bay in the past by managing a cognitive training program on campus and, more recently, serving as the Executive Functioning Specialist.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Betsy has been a consistent vegetarian for 18 years!
  • She loves to read classic literature, and is especially fond of the Russian novelists.
  • She hikes, camps, and climbs in the majority of her free time.
