Education

Samantha Metzner has an A.A. in English from San Diego Mesa Community College and received her B.A. in Linguistics from California State University Long Beach. She also had the opportunity to study the French language and French linguistics abroad at Université de Lausanne in Switzerland. More recently, she earned her M.Ed. and S.S. Credential in French from University of California San Diego.

Experience

Samantha entered into the field of education at age 18 when she worked as a Classified Substitute for the San Diego Unified School District. In college and over the course of two years, she worked as an English and French tutor at San Diego Mesa Community College and California State University Long Beach. Finally, she completed her student teaching in the San Marcos Unified District where she worked with all levels of French students.
