M.S. Cognitive Psychology
Negin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from UCSD. She then moved on to pursue her Master of Science degree in Cognitive Psychology from Binghamton University in upstate New York.
During her graduate studies, Negin worked in a research lab where she studied the cognitive processes underlying reading development by measuring the brain activity of children and adolescents. Through this research, she became aware of the individual differences of those with reading impairments, and realized that providing individualized care and instruction resulted in the best outcomes. This research ignited her passion to work in the field of education in a one-on-one setting, and brought her to Fusion Academy.
