Experience

Originally from San Diego, CA, Oscar was a celebrity stylist, a beauty and wardrobe department worker in Hollywood, and a comedy writer prior to entering education. Oscar then spent eight years teaching ESL, and was published in a fashion anthology while living in Seoul, South Korea. Oscar spent 1.5 years Student Teaching at the Escondido Adult School upon returning to the US. They have also spent 3 years teaching Humanities, Spanish, Film Studies, and other electives, two years as English Department Head, one year as Humanities and World Languages Department Head, and another year as Mentor Teacher/Assistant Director - all at Fusion Academy Los Angeles. Somehow, Oscar also managed to find time to spend two months camping through Sub-Saharan Africa, and has been to every Disneyland except for Shanghai (Tokyo Disney Sea is the best, he says).
