Jessica began her Fusion journey in 2019, working directly on campus in sunny Los Angeles, CA as the Director of First Impressions. She worked closely alongside staff, students and families where she was the heartbeat of the school, providing fundamental resources for academic, and social and emotional success. As a Admissions Consultant, she is excited to meet new families and answer any questions about Fusion. Originally from San Jose, CA, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science emphasizing in Sociology, she has the spirit to advocate for change in how education should be, which is why she passionately believes in the Fusion 1:1 model.
Beginning as a middle school youth leader and lead volunteer at the San Jose Family Shelter during her high school years, it wasn’t hard to realize she wanted to devote her life to education. She started her professional career in early childhood education working as a preschool teacher, to then leading after-school programs and enrichment programs for primary schools. Additionally, she was actively involved and trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis as a Behavioral Technician for kids on the spectrum, and spent a few years working in the 5th grade classroom at Oakwood Elementary.
Outside of work, Jessica spends her time learning groundwork training for horses, photography and eating her way through Los Angeles. Ask about her chocolate lab Finn, and her love for Disneyland!
