Daniel Arroyo

World Language Teacher/Mentor

Daniel Arroyo was born in a Spanish speaking country and is the fourth generation of teachers in his family. He considers himself lucky to be a Spanish teacher! Daniel was educated in private schools and public libraries. His first grade teacher, Mrs. Hope taught him how to read, and a Russian boy, Emilio, invited him to a track, so he dedicated his entire school career to reading and running. When Daniel was in college he had the opportunity to join the Mexican Paralympic Committee as a guide of the blind runner’s team and had the privilege of receiving a bronze medal in Atlanta 1996. ¡MÉXICO! ¡MÉXICO!

Daniel holds a Bachelor’s in Philosophy and a Master’s in Teaching. He made a living out of writing for years until he came to the U.S. with his wife. Now, Daniel lives in Mountlake Terrace with his wife and a bourgeoisie dog.

Daniel’s Fusion Fun Fact: He still writes letters to Santa Claus.
