Education
Melanie Chin earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington in Neuroscience and Biology (Genome, Cell, and Developmental). Her thesis research focused on sensory neuron development in fruit flies. Before her studies at Indiana, she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Biochemistry from The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH.
Experience
Melanie has experience teaching undergraduate biology and mentoring students in a laboratory setting. Along with this she has taught a variety of younger students through science outreach events.
