Natalie Flax graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from California State University, Fullerton. During her undergraduate time, she studied abroad at La Universidad de Complutense in Madrid, Spain. She then went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, Vermont. There too she was able study abroad again in Madrid, Spain because she loved it so much.
Before entering the world of education Natalie worked in the liability auto insurance claims industry for 8 years. She has experience managing liability claims, litigated claims, and managing a liability team. Though having obtained a certain level of success in that industry she ultimately decided on a career change to follow her passion for the Spanish language and culture. Thorough out the years she has taught English and Spanish to second language learners only to find it completely fulfilling.
Natalie’s other passions include road and mountain biking with her husband and traveling internationally without her husband. She cannot say no to any book or show containing vampires, witches or werewolves. She has decided that she is officially the best judge of frosted cookies in her state and a complete coffee snob.
