Shuran Zhang is currently a PhD candidate at Arizona State University. Her fields of interest are teaching Chinese as a second language, Chinese popular religions, and human-animal relations. She graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou with a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature in 2013.
Shuran Zhang has five years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese at Arizona State University. She also tutored classical Chinese, Chinese history, and modern Chinese literature there. She has three months of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese at the elementary school level.
