Education

Doug Cohlmeyer graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Russian an political science. He graduated with a Master of Arts from Saint Mary's College in Moraga. Doug earned a multiple subject credential from CSU East Bay and certificate in TESL from Berkeley Extension.

Experience

Doug was trained as an elementary school teacher with linguistically diverse populations. His classroom experience in the Bay Area included preK, 2, 4, 5. 6, 7, and adult math, English, science, and ESL. His experience in China ran from preK to college level English and history. Doug also worked as a private tutor for math, English, science, social studies, and ESL.

  • Held the record in college for fastest two pints of Ben&Jerry's: 4:54.
  • Favorite book is Ender's Game.
