Aya holds three Bachelor’s degrees - one in Humanities and two in Arts - each earned in a different country. She also earned a Master's degree in Teaching and Secondary Education, gaining the instructional tools and strategies essential for fostering student achievement. She also holds a Clear California Teaching Credential, reflecting her strong commitment to educational quality and student growth.

With over 10 years of school leadership experience and a background in both public and private schools throughout the Bay Area, Aya is deeply passionate about serving students and fostering their growth. She is dedicated to building a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning culture that empowers all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • As a self-proclaimed artist, she loves plein-air painting and has exhibited her work locally and internationally.
  • In her spare time, she enjoys discovering rare contemporary and classic films from around the world through the Criterion Collection.
