Andrew is a government teacher here at Fusion Academy. Andrew graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies, with a focus on Asian Studies. He comes from the Philadelphia region where he worked for state and local government for three years. He also worked for the Free Library of Philadelphia, where he volunteered to work with immigrants to improve their English skills. Finally, he taught English in public schools in Shanghai prior to coming to Fusion Academy.
Fusion’s emphasis on the one-to-one teaching model and the Homework Café are what drew Andrew into the school. When not in the classroom, he enjoys baking at home with his cats and reading novels. If you have a plethora of free time, try asking him for his opinions about Dostoyevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov. Or, if you’re looking for something more modern, Madeline Miller’s Circe.
