Education

Hien Nguyen, a part time Art Instructor. He received MA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design and BFA degrees from Corcoran School of Art and Design. He has taught at the Corcoran School of art and design, Northern Virginia Community College and Montgomery College.

Experience

Hien Nguyen is currently a Visual Designer at Pictogram Studio, a multi-disciplinary design studio in Maryland. Past position held by Hien include Senior Designer for Verizon, Airline Tariff Publishing Company and branding consultant for varied design and marketing companies in Washington DC.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Hien was the recipient of numerous awards, including a U.S. Presidential Award for the excellent creative work he did for the National Childwatch Campaign.
  • His work has been represented in major international and national design publications and featured in such national media venues as The CBS Evening News, The Washington Post, and USA Today.
