Rachel has moved seven times in her life, but she considers her hometown to be Poolesville, Maryland. She has been in Virginia for four years and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from William and Mary in 2020. She has worked with children of every age, from toddlers to high schoolers. She loves teaching all things English, but her favorite genre is gothic (let’s hear it for Wuthering Heights!). She also loves history and is proficient in Spanish from her middle school years spent in Bogotá, Colombia. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, reading, yoga, watching a variety of TV shows, and petting her beautiful dog Scout.
