Andrea Shore

Education
Andrea received her Bachelor’s Degree in French (with a minor in Psychology) from the George Washington University after transferring there from the American University of Paris. A few years later, she followed that with a Master’s in Secondary Education from GW as well.
Experience
Andrea was the Alexandria Director of First Impressions for nearly two years before becoming the Director of Student Development at our brand new Reston campus. Andrea is now the DSD for both campuses.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Has lived in Northern Virginia since she was a year old; just leaving twice as a young adult to live in Europe (first Paris, then London).
- Lives with her husband, children and baby turtle in nearby Annandale.
- In her spare time, she texts with her daughter in grad school 3,500 miles away, checks up on her son in college, chauffeurs her youngest to her endless activities, volunteers with the PTA at her daughter’s school, reads her current bookclub book, and tries to figure out what to make for dinner.
