Director of Student Development
Rachael earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology: Mental Health concentration, and her master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Rachael currently holds a CT state teaching license in Special Education grades K-12. Before moving to Charlotte, Rachael worked as a middle school special education teacher at a therapeutic day school in Connecticut. Rachael was the head coach for a Special Olympic swim team, and volunteered year-round with other sports including basketball and bowling.
In her free time, Rachael enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and spending time with her dogs - Aspen and Dakota! Rachael is an avid traveler, and the next destinations on her travel bucket list are Iceland and Belize!
