Paula Orenduff brings her passion and enthusiasm for the arts to Fusion as the Visual Arts teacher/mentor. Mrs. Orenduff graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design. In college, her passion for the arts and love of children lead her to teach classes with an after-school art program in the public school system. She began teaching full-time soon after graduating and now has over 10 years of teaching experience! Mrs. Orenduff advocates for her students inside and outside of school. She often involves them in art service projects and teen art shows. One of her greatest, "Student Brag Moments", is when her student's artwork was selected and displayed at The Capital Building in Washington DC as part of the National Congressional Art Competition.
Mrs. Orenduff not only teaches art, but she is also a practicing artist. She has exhibited her artwork in numerous shows and local art galleries. She was even commissioned to create an artwork to be featured in a documentary film! Mrs. Orenduff also loves to use her artistic talents to improve the world. She donates many of her artworks and commissions to charitable organizations and really enjoys leading 'Paint Your Pet' fundraising events! She has an enormous heart for animals and volunteers frequently at animal shelters with her photography.
Outside of teaching, creating art, and saving the world one dog at a time, Mrs. Orenduff enjoys yoga, reading, four-wheeling, paint-balling, and out of the ordinary adventures with her family.
