Mark Bergman

Math and Physics Teacher/ Mentor

Dr. Mark Bergman is a math and physics teacher/mentor at Fusion Academy Princeton. Dr. Bergman earned his PhD in Mathematical Physics from the University of Lund (Sweden) and over the last two decades Mark has worked with students at all levels in public and private schools as well as one-to-one and small-group tutoring. Mark is passionate about sharing the love of science and helping students see the interconnectedness between physics, math, and the world around them.

When Mark is not busy teaching and tutoring, he enjoys reading for fun, particularly books on his favorite non-science topic – history. In his spare time, he still enjoys having fun with physics and specifically is interested in getting a better understanding about the structure of space.

Throughout his life he has been involved in many different sports, and he currently enjoys playing tennis and riding his bike. A little-known fact about Mark is that if he could do one thing it would be to be a composer. Unfortunately, he says he is very “un-musical” but does enjoy listening to classical music all the time.
