Marina is a world language teacher at Fusion Academy Princeton, certified for French at all levels and Spanish and Italian at introductory levels. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Secondary Education Teaching Certification for French at Chestnut Hill College.
Marina has taught French in public middle and high schools as well as private schools over the course of her teaching career in the last 25 years. She has taught all levels of French including Honors courses and has served as French Club Moderator. As an Italian native, she had the opportunity to teach Italian 1 and Spanish 1 at Notre Dame as well.
In her free time, Marina enjoys bike riding along the Delaware River canal paths, gardening, cooking French, Italian, Mexican cuisines, and baking for her family and when entertaining.
Little known fact – early on in her career she had the amazing opportunity as a French-speaking tour guide to host tours of historic Philadelphia for visiting French Canadians. It was great fun, and she learned the French version of Canada’s national anthem ‘O Canada’!
