Experience
Amy is a former AmeriCorps Member. Through this organization she created a trail conservation, town rehabilitation and art program for troubled youth. Amy also worked for the Epilepsy Foundation of NJ where she traveled across the state to educate students, faculty members and police officers about Epilepsy to groups of up to 600. Amy has experience with art program management through various summer camps. She was also a Paraprofessional at the high school level where she supported small group learning and all aspects of individual education plans. Amy also teaches art classes to private clients and kids.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Amy has her own business called The Pretty Hand where she participates regularly in art shows to sell her glass. She is also commissioned frequently to create portraits of buildings, murals in homes, and made to order glass pieces.
- Amy is a licensed Medical Massage Therapist.
- She completed a 3-week backpacking survival trip in Colorado with Outward Bound when she was 18. It was a life changing experience.
