Rachel Bitgood attended Belhaven University in Jackson, MS, where she obtained both a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.A. in English. Some of her memorable experiences include performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., showcasing her own choreography at multiple dance festivals, and serving her college campus as a writing tutor for two years. She ardently believes in the intersection of arts and academia, not only for the sake of knowledge but for understanding the nature of life, humanity, and hope.
She worked for the Mississippi Secretary of State and co-choreographed a ballet for her alma mater before getting married and moving to Dallas, TX. She served as a dance teacher, freelance editor, and English teacher before joining Fusion Academy Plano. Rachel is passionate about helping others discover the joy of learning and find the beauty in life.
