John Danho



A true California native, John Danho started his higher academic career at Pasadena City College before transferring to UC Santa Cruz and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy (with Honors). Several years later, he earned his Master's Degree in English/Literature from Cal Poly Pomona.


John has experience both as a Subject Tutor of many years and an Adjunct Professor of English for more than 3. He has taught subjects ranging from Ancient Philosophy to Surveys of English Literature, from the existential work of Friedrich Nietzsche to the explorative short-fiction of Jhumpa Lahiri. He thrives in a classroom and considers student success his top priority.
