Experience

Jacob Edelstein has worked in public and private classrooms as teacher-of-record for most humanities courses; he’s also been an administrator overseeing programming and curriculum development for schools in Palos Verdes, CA, the O.C., Houston, Texas, Mexico City, Mexico, and Valparaiso, Chile. He sometimes goes by “Jake”, plays a whole bunch of instruments, surfs, works as an ocean lifeguard for the City of Long Beach, CA, and is a literary translator from Spanish. Jacob very much enjoyed working as a teacher and an administrator on one of Fusion’s physical campuses, and he’s thrilled to be in his role at the Substitute Center!
