Xavier Rock

Russian, Language Arts and Math Teacher

Xavier grew up nearby in Sutton, Massachusetts. He graduated with his BS in Mathematics, BA in Russian, and minor in physics from the University of Vermont. While tutoring fellow students there, he developed a passion for helping people understand and excel in subjects that previously challenged them. Looking to continue teaching and enhance his language skills, Xavier applied to the Fulbright Program. This program took him to Siberia, where he both taught English at Tomsk Polytechnic University and studied Russian at Tomsk State University. After this, he earned his MSc in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford. Xavier believes every student has a unique learning style and is excited to work within Fusion’s one-on-one classroom model. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and piano, studying various languages, and acting in cosplay at main events at Comic Conventions.
