Mark Rosenberg

History & English Teacher

Mark comes to Fusion Academy with years of experience teaching in local public and private school classrooms.  He has been a faculty member of Bentley University since 2002.  Mark has previously taught both history and writing courses in the department of English Writing/College Composition at Pine Manor College and Newbury College.  He also taught anthropology and sociology at Montserrat College of Art, and history at Gann Academy and Newton North High School.

Mark was raised in West Hartford, CT attending Hall High School and earning his BA and MA from Brandeis University.  A certified alpine ski instructor, Mark coaches the Belmont High Alpine Ski Team and teaches skiing at Wachusett Mountain.   Mark loves to swim, especially at the beach with his two beloved children, Sofia and Simon.

Mark is passionate about the study of history as a means of better understanding our contemporary world and envisioning the meaning and positive changes we can make together.  In the words of Rabbi Chanina, "I have learned much from my teachers, more from my colleagues, and the most from my students".
